Cook gnocchi following packet directions. Set aside.
Meanwhile, heat an ovenproof medium non stick frypan or casserole dish over medium heat. Pour in Providore d’Italia Sugo and bring to a simmer.
Add gnocchi to sugo and stir to coat. Dot tomatoes around pan evenly and top with mozzarella and parmesan. Place under a preheated grill on medium-high for 5 minutes or until bubbling and golden in places. Serve with basil leaves and a drizzle of olive oil.
A salad of bitter leaves like rocket and radicchio would complement this rich, mildly flavoured gnocchi dish.
