Ingredients
- 200g gemelli or spiral pasta
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 shallot, finely sliced
- Chilli flakes, to taste
- 400g jar Providore d'Italia Creamy Tomato Vodka Pasta Sauce
- Finely grated parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley, for serving
Method
STEP 1Cook pasta following packet directions.
STEP 2
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large non stick frypan over medium heat. Add shallot, chilli and cook for 2-3 minutes, until shallot softens.
STEP 3
Add Providore d'Italia Sauce and heat through, stirring occasionally, until sauce comes to the boil. Reduce heat, add hot pasta and stir to coat.
STEP 4
Serve sprinkled with parmesan and parsley.
Tips
Add pan fried prosciutto for extra indulgence.
